RET series
RET615 IEC: is a relay specifically designed for the protection, control, measurement, and monitoring of power transformers, unit transformers, and step-up transformers (including generator transformer units), suitable for utility and industrial distribution systems. It is ABB Relion ® The members of the 615 protection and control series relays in the product family have the following characteristics:
Powerful protection function: Provides multiple protection functions including differential protection for double winding power transformers. Differential protection has high excitation surge stability and can quickly and accurately detect and protect transformer faults.
Flexible configuration: There are ready-made standard configurations that can match the most commonly used vector groups, making it easy to set up quickly and conveniently. At the same time, it also has customization functions to meet the specific needs of different users.
Easy installation: Adopting a detachable plug-in unit design, it is convenient for quick installation and testing.
Display and Interaction: Equipped with a large graphic display screen that can display custom single line diagrams, users can easily access them through a local or web-based human-machine interface.
Communication and synchronization: Supports IEC 61850 Editions 1 and 2, including HSR and PRP redundant communication, GOOSE messaging, and IEC 61850-9-2 LE, as well as Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 60870-5-103 communication protocols, and IEEE 1588 V2 high-precision time synchronization.
REC series
REC 200 series: It is a microprocessor based substation control equipment that can be used as interval, station level, and regional computers or gateways. Its characteristics are as follows:
Versatile features: equipped with self-monitoring function, capable of communication with the control center, high-precision time marking of events, and high availability and flexibility. In addition, it also includes various functions such as device control, interval control, interlocking, automatic reclosing, automatic voltage control, and transformer parallel control.
Strong communication capability: achieve interference free communication through fiber optic cables, support serial fiber optic communication and protection equipment connection, and reduce wiring. The available protocols include ADLP 180, RP 570, Sinaut 8, etc.
Easy programming: using user-friendly programming language, built-in configurable database, short installation and debugging time. A control panel can be equipped as needed for local control, supporting station/remote, local, or backup operation modes.
REF series
REF620 IEC: It is a dedicated feeder protection device used for the protection, control, measurement, and monitoring of public and industrial distribution systems, including radiated, ring, and mesh power grids. Its characteristics are as follows:
Comprehensive protection and control functions: providing feeder overcurrent and ground fault protection, suitable for neutral ungrounded networks and resistor or impedance neutral grounded networks. Equipped with a highly sensitive and selective multi frequency admittance grounding protection combination, as well as advanced and fast short-circuit and grounding fault location functions. It also supports multiple optional function packages, suitable for distributed power generation, capacitors, basic motors, and arc protection.
Flexible configuration: There are two options for single bus and double bus configurations, each with one or two circuit breakers and multiple switch devices to choose from. It supports a large number of manual and electric isolation switches and grounding switches, and the number of available I/O can be increased according to the needs of ABB's RIO600 remote I/O devices.
Excellent communication capability: Supports substation IEC61850 communication standard, covering vertical and horizontal communication, including GOOSE messages with switch and analog signals, as well as setting based on IEC 61850-8-1. Simultaneously supporting DNP3, IEC 60870-5-103, and Modbus ® Protocol, providing an optional Ethernet port or ring self-healing RSTP communication for non delayed redundant Ethernet in case of communication failure through PRP or HSR protocol.
REF601: It is a dedicated feeder protection and control relay used to protect public substations and industrial power systems in primary and secondary distribution networks. It is ABB Relief ® Member of the 605 product series. It integrates protection, monitoring, and control functions, and can be pre configured for easy and quick debugging of switchgear. It has three-level overcurrent and two-level grounding fault protection functions, as well as transformer surge detector function, thermal overload protection, negative phase sequence protection, phase failure protection, and circuit breaker fault protection. An automatic recloser option can also be provided for overhead line feeders, controlling a circuit breaker through a dedicated button and providing opening and closing guidance on the local human-machine interface. Circuit breaker control can also be achieved through optional MODBUS RTU or IEC 60870-5-103 communication.
REL series
