Explanation on the Change in the Selection of the 3500/15 AC Power Supply Module

Regarding the 350015 power module, Bentley Shengpin's new generation uses the 3500/15 AC power module to replace the old AC power module. The design of the 3500/15 AC power supply has been changed to use the same model of main power supply module and power input module for all input ranges of 85 to 264 Vac AC voltage. Replace the original high voltage alternating current (HVAC) and low voltage alternating current (LVAC) models with an AC module, while keeping the product price unchanged. At present, this new design will not affect the DC voltage power supply model. Customers who need to place orders should order according to the new PN number in the future.

Product Update Overview

The power supply for the 3500 monitoring system is a half height module that accepts input voltage within the bright range and converts it into the voltage required for other 3500 modules to operate. The power supply consists of a main power module installed in front of the frame and a power input module (PIN) installed behind the frame. The main module includes an AC main module and a DC main module; On this basis, it is also divided into high voltage and low voltage, resulting in four unique 3500/15 power supply ordering options: high voltage alternating current (HVAC), low voltage alternating current (LVAC), high voltage direct current (HVDC), and low voltage direct current (LVDC).

This product update notice aims to inform customers that the 3500/15 AC version of the power supply now has an updated design to choose from, which includes new ordering options and spare parts models for the 3500/15 AC version of the power supply. At present, these new options and spare part numbers will not affect the DC model options and spare part numbers.

Product update details

The design of the 3500/15 AC power supply has been changed to use the same model of main power supply module and power input module for all input ranges of 85 to 264 Vac AC voltage. The design changes on the new universal 3500 AC power input module are shown in Figure 1.

1. The connector connecting the power input module to the external power supply has been changed to a pluggable terminal strip connector, which makes it easier to connect the power supply main cable.

2. The fuse box of the universal AC power input module has been redesigned, and the fuse cannot be accessed and/or replaced without removing the metal cover plate of the power input module. The spare replacement fuse also has a new part number.

When ordering 3500/15 in the 3500 system, the summary of new and old ordering options is shown in Table 1:

In addition to the changes in the ordering structure of the 3500/15 part numbers mentioned above, the spare part numbers for the new universal AC main power module and power input module are also different from the current spare part numbers for high-voltage AC and low-voltage AC main modules and power input modules. The complete list of spare parts models for the 3500 main power module and power input module is shown in Table 2:

This is a 3500/15 power module spare parts model change instruction table, which clearly lists the status changes of different models of power modules:

No changes: Four types of modules, including 129486-01 (high-voltage direct current power supply module), will remain in their original state with "no changes made according to this notice".

Gradual elimination: Three types of modules, including 127610-01 (AC power supply module), are in the stage of being gradually eliminated, and their subsequent applications may be reduced.

Newly added: 5 types of modules, including 106M1079-01 (universal 85-264 Vac AC power supply module), are newly included models used to supplement or update the power module system. They can assist in equipment maintenance and procurement by referring to module status, and planning spare parts selection and replacement reasonably.
